Maybe you’ve heard about personal brand photography. It’s everywhere these days and creating a buzz in the marketing world. You may be wondering, what exactly is personal brand photography and why is it important?
What does google say? A quick google search will tell you that brand photography is a professional photography session that is designed to create custom images for your website and social media. It’s purpose is to create a cohesive visual that represents your brand.
While I agree with this definition, I think it’s missing out on a key ingredient. YOUR STORY. Personal Brand Photography is targeted to small business owners and entrepreneurs who need custom, authentic images that showcase their personality and lifestyle. In a saturated marketplace, people want to know more about who they are buying from. Essentially, telling stories with personal brand photography and displaying authenticity is what makes deeper connections with clients, customers and followers.

The most common question I hear is, What stories do I tell? I recommend choosing 3-5 stories that you feel comfortable sharing with the world. If this scares the sh*t out of you, no worries, you don’t need to share your whole life with everyone. Only share what feels comfortable and right for you. The most important thing is that your stories need to relate to your target client. Use stories to address their pain and pleasure points. You can rotate your 3-5 stories with other content and then have sub stories within your stories. Sound confusing? Sign up for a free 30 min consultation here.
